DitLead quick start checklist

Set up the minimum pieces you need before finding leads or launching outreach.

Before you start

  • Use this checklist when a workspace is new or when a team wants to confirm the basics before launching outreach.
  • You do not need to configure every DitLead feature on day one. Focus on the pieces required for one clean campaign.
  • A safe first setup uses a small audience, validated senders, simple copy, and clear ownership for replies.

Recommended workflow

Part 1

Confirm the workspace and users

Make sure the right teammates are in the workspace and have the permissions they need. Keep admin access limited to people who manage settings, billing, users, and sensitive integrations.

Part 2

Define your first audience

Write the audience in plain language before searching: buyer role, company type, region, size, exclusions, and why they would care. This prevents broad lists and weak campaigns.

Part 3

Create or import a list

Use Lead Finder, LinkedIn extraction, or CSV upload to create one focused list. Review fields, remove bad-fit contacts, and avoid mixing unrelated segments in one list.

Connect sending accounts

Add email or LinkedIn accounts, validate them, and check that each account is meant for outbound. New infrastructure should use conservative limits.

Build and validate a small campaign

Create a campaign with one clear goal, preview every message, check variables, run validation, and launch to a controlled segment before scaling.

What to do next

  • Monitor replies, bounces, account warnings, and campaign errors during the first sends.
  • Improve one thing at a time: audience, copy, sender setup, schedule, or follow-up.
  • Document the setup decisions so teammates know what was connected, launched, and why.

FAQ

Do I need a large list before starting?

No. A small, focused list is better for the first campaign because it exposes targeting and copy issues without risking a large audience.

Can I skip account validation?

No. Validation is what confirms DitLead can use the account correctly. Missing or unhealthy senders are a common reason campaigns fail to launch.
