How Auto Outreach works

Understand website previews, lead research, campaign handoff and the controls that govern sending.

7 min read

Before you start

  • Auto Outreach uses your business offer and ideal customer profile to prepare outbound campaigns, research matching prospects and manage campaign work. You can start with a company website or provide the context manually.
  • A website preview is separate from an active campaign. Entering a domain does not send emails. Saving a preview creates campaign drafts; enabling full management allows agents to prepare and publish eligible campaigns when readiness checks pass.
  • Use this overview before handing over a campaign. The workspace switch, campaign agent switch and ordinary campaign sending status each control a different part of the workflow.

Steps

Step 1

Give the agent business context

Start from your website to let DitLead analyze your public company pages. Without a website, set up your workspace ICP and provide the offer, target companies and decision-maker roles. A specific audience such as US B2B SaaS companies with 50–200 employees is more useful than businesses that need growth.

Step 2

Review the proposed audiences

Each campaign direction has a target audience, channel and explanation of why it fits your business. Compare the suggested roles and company characteristics against your actual customers. Confidence percentages and audience sizes are planning aids; they do not establish that every suggested company is a qualified prospect.

Step 3

Continue into the right workspace

Choose the audience you want to inspect first, then use the preview’s Launch campaigns button. Sign in if prompted and select the intended workspace. An account without the required access is shown trial activation. An eligible trial or paid workspace can proceed to draft preparation.

Step 4

Decide how much work to hand over

The full agent suite can prepare campaign settings, research leads, validate readiness, publish and adjust supported campaign settings. Automatic lead replenishment is a narrower mode: it supplies leads while you retain control of the sequence and publishing. Check the mode shown in the campaign’s Auto Outreach controls before enabling it.

Step 5

Check readiness before sending

Read the sequence and settings, confirm audience fit and review any launch blocker. DitLead provides Auto Outreach mailboxes, but the campaign still needs an assigned, ready sender before email publication. A missing or pending mailbox assignment should be resolved through DitLead; it is not a request to build your own mailbox infrastructure.

Step 6

Follow the result and handle conversations

Use campaign status and Logs to understand actual progress. Replies appear in Unibox. Review interested replies and take the next business step yourself; Auto Outreach does not guarantee a meeting or a closed deal. AI Sales Rep is a separate capability for reply handling where included and configured.

FAQ

Does entering my website send messages?

No. It creates a research preview. Sending requires a campaign that has been published and is eligible to run. Full management can publish once its checks pass, so review the campaign before authorizing handoff.

Is Auto Outreach the same as the AI campaign builder?

The AI campaign builder helps create a campaign. Auto Outreach adds ongoing agent management and lead research around a campaign. Neither a generated draft nor an audience estimate proves that outreach has been sent.

Do I have to connect my own email mailbox?

DitLead provides the mailboxes for Auto Outreach. If the supplied mailbox assignment is unavailable or pending, keep the campaign from sending and contact support. LinkedIn still requires your own connected LinkedIn account when that channel is used.
