Set up Auto Outreach without a website

Supply your offer, target companies and buyer roles manually so agents have usable context.

7 min read

Before you start

  • You can use Auto Outreach without a website. Choose Set up manually from DitLead’s website, create an account if needed, and work inside your workspace.
  • Prepare a short description of what you sell, who buys it and why. A useful brief identifies a buyer problem and an offer you can actually deliver, rather than an unsupported promise of results.
  • Paid-feature or trial activation prompts can appear when saving ICP or enabling agents. Follow the access prompt for your intended workspace; manual setup does not bypass it.

Steps

Step 1

Enter the correct workspace

Sign in and select the workspace where this business’s campaigns belong. Keep distinct businesses in their appropriate workspaces so the default buyer profile and campaign offer are not mixed. If you see an access prompt, use continue with a trial or paid workspace.

Step 2

Save a workspace ICP

Open Settings → ICP. The Ideal Customer Profile form stores default target job titles, management levels, departments, industries, company sizes, countries, technologies, pain points and value propositions. Fill the fields that describe your actual buyers, then save. You do not need to invent values for every optional filter.

Step 3

Write a searchable audience

Describe observable company characteristics: for example, US B2B SaaS companies with 50–200 employees selling to enterprise buyers. List roles such as VP Sales and Head of Growth separately. Avoid an audience consisting only of people who need our product; research needs company and role criteria it can search.

Step 4

Create or open a campaign

Open Campaigns and create a campaign for one focused audience, or open an existing campaign you intend to hand over. Name it for the offer and buyer segment so its results are easy to interpret. Existing steps and contacts are preserved when Auto Outreach is selected for a campaign.

Step 5

Open the campaign handoff controls

In the campaign list, open its Auto Outreach control and inspect Handoff to agents. In the editor, the corresponding control is Full agent suite. Make the handoff only when you want agents to manage this campaign: full management can prepare and publish a ready campaign. Inspect the workspace Auto Outreach state as well.

Step 6

Complete any missing-context prompt

If Give Auto Outreach the missing context appears, enter What are you offering?, Target companies and Decision-maker roles. Roles are comma-separated, up to eight. Choose Outreach channel. Saved offer or targeting may already be available, so the form only asks for missing information. Review the inputs before choosing Turn on Auto Outreach.

Step 7

Review the prepared campaign

Read the proposed sequence and schedule and check readiness messages. DitLead supplies Auto Outreach mailboxes; a pending assignment is a blocker to resolve with support. For a LinkedIn direction, the app requires your own connected LinkedIn account. Use review and launch your campaign for the approval and readiness boundaries.

What happens next

  • Use edit your offer and target audience to change campaign-specific context later.
  • Start with one precise audience; separate materially different offers into separate campaigns.

FAQ

Is a website mandatory?

No. The manual path uses your workspace ICP and campaign brief. Specific company criteria and decision-maker roles replace the context that website analysis would otherwise supply.

Why does the form not ask for my offer or target roles?

The campaign or workspace already has usable saved context. The missing-context prompt can reuse it instead of requesting the same information again.

Does turning on agents immediately send an email?

It authorizes management work. Sending still requires publication, eligible leads, sender readiness and a valid schedule. Because the full suite can publish when those checks pass, review the intended handoff before enabling it.
