Before you start
- There are three separate controls: workspace Auto Outreach governs agents across the workspace; campaign handoff governs agent management for one campaign; ordinary campaign status governs whether a published campaign can send.
- Before changing a switch, decide whether your goal is to stop agent work, regain manual editing or stop outgoing messages. Turning off agents alone is not a complete sending stop.
- Controls can require campaign editing permissions and paid-feature access. Read the current mode before resuming; restoring workspace Auto Outreach can resume management for configured campaigns.
Steps
Inspect the workspace master switch
Open the Auto Outreach card near the bottom of the dashboard sidebar. The popover describes Lead research, Campaign outreach and Reply alerts, shows the switch and counts configured campaigns. This switch governs the workspace’s configured agent work; it does not individually opt every campaign into management.
Inspect one campaign’s handoff
In Campaigns, open the Auto Outreach control on the campaign row. Handoff to agents controls that campaign independently. In the campaign editor, the corresponding toggle is labeled Full agent suite. Read its status and any launch or research blocker before changing it.
Distinguish lead replenishment from the full suite
A campaign can show Automatic lead replenishment or Leads on. In that mode, research adds matching prospects as the active campaign uses its current leads; you control the sequence and publishing. Selecting the full suite grants broader authority. If you only want to stop replenishment, use its Turn off control rather than changing unrelated campaigns.
Return one campaign to manual management
Turn off Handoff to agents or Full agent suite for that campaign when you want to edit it manually. The other campaigns are unaffected. Confirm that the state becomes Off or manual. Existing contacts and saved steps are not deleted by opting out.
Pause agent work across the workspace
Turn off the workspace Auto Outreach switch to pause the configured agents broadly. A managed campaign can remain configured but show Paused because the workspace master switch is off. This pauses agent operations; it does not automatically change ordinary campaign sending status.
Stop outgoing campaign messages
If your goal is to stop sending, pause each affected published campaign through its ordinary campaign status controls as well. Inspect the resulting paused status. Already queued work cannot be recalled by a switch, so do not describe an agent pause as a guarantee that no message can remain in flight.
Resume deliberately
Review campaign modes, blockers, sending status and schedules before turning workspace Auto Outreach back on. If only one campaign should resume, leave the others opted out or paused as appropriate. Confirm the visible state after the change; a toast alone does not establish that a campaign is ready or sending.

FAQ
Does the workspace switch enable every campaign?
It permits configured Auto Outreach work across the workspace. Each campaign’s handoff or replenishment state still matters. A manually managed campaign is not automatically handed over just because the master switch is on.
Does turning off Auto Outreach stop emails?
It stops subsequent agent management work. A published campaign has its own sending state, so pause the campaign separately to stop outgoing activity. Already queued work cannot be retracted.
Why does my campaign say Paused while its handoff switch is on?
Workspace Auto Outreach may be off. The campaign remains configured but agents cannot operate through the paused workspace master switch. Check ordinary campaign status separately.
