Troubleshoot Auto Outreach

Resolve preview, access, context, research and launch blockers using the state shown in the app.

9 min read

Before you start

  • Open the affected preview or campaign and copy the exact visible message. Identify the stage first: website analysis, account access, draft preparation, research, publication or sending.
  • Do not repeatedly activate checkout, create new previews or enable agents to work around a blocker. Fix the specific prerequisite and preserve the existing campaign work.
  • If you need to stop outgoing activity while investigating, pause the ordinary published campaign as well as the relevant agents. An agent switch does not recall already queued messages.

Steps

Step 1

If the website preview is wrong or unavailable

Confirm that the company domain belongs to your business and its pages are public. Use Try another domain for an incorrect site. If the site has too little business context, use set up without a website. Correct inaccurate offer and audience details through campaign context after saving the preview.

Step 2

If trial activation does not continue

Check the signed-in account and selected workspace. An eligible trial in another workspace does not prove access to this one. Use Back to campaigns if you do not intend to activate checkout. If the page says trial is still activating, allow confirmation to settle and use the available retry; contact support if the access mismatch persists.

Step 3

If sample research is delayed or empty

Read the exact sample state. Search delayed or retry scheduled is different from No confirmed matches. A disabled Refresh sample can mean a job is already running. For empty results, review whether your company criteria and roles are too narrow, contradictory or too vague. Estimates are not confirmed sample counts.

Step 4

If agents show Needs your help

Open the campaign control and read the detailed blocker. Missing ICP or context needs a searchable audience and offer. Use Set up ICP or the missing-context prompt where shown. If the sequence needs attention, inspect its actual saved steps rather than assuming a brief change regenerated them.

Step 5

If research is waiting for credits

Check your applicable lead-credit allowance and balance. Resolve the budget prerequisite, then inspect whether recovery adds the remaining results. Sending emails does not use lead credits; a research budget blocker should not be described as an email-sending credit charge.

Step 6

If launch is waiting for a sender

Email steps require a ready assigned mailbox. DitLead supplies Auto Outreach mailboxes; if allocation is pending or the managed-mailbox control is disabled, contact support about assignment. Do not add a user mailbox connection step to this workflow. A LinkedIn blocker needs your own connected and assigned LinkedIn account.

Step 7

If a ready-looking campaign is not sending

Check whether it is actually published and active, inside its sending window and able to use its assigned senders. Inspect eligible leads and Logs. Research readiness, a saved draft and a visible On badge are not sending evidence. Resolve the concrete schedule, account, sequence or contact blocker before resuming.

Step 8

If editing controls are disabled

Check campaign editing permissions and whether full management owns the setting. Turn off campaign handoff when you want manual sequence or rules control. Campaign context has a separate enabled-state requirement; read edit your offer and target audience before using the full-suite toggle to unlock it.

Step 9

If the state still does not recover

Contact DitLead support with the workspace, campaign or domain, stage, exact visible error and approximate time. Use a screenshot containing only the relevant controls. Include whether it affects one campaign or the workspace, and which account-access path you used. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment details or a full private prospect list.

What happens next

  • After correcting a blocker, confirm the new state in the campaign controls and Logs before concluding the workflow recovered.
  • Resume only the campaigns you intend to run. Recheck workspace handoff, ordinary campaign status and schedule.

FAQ

Should I recreate a campaign when research stalls?

Usually start with the existing campaign’s blocker and context. Recreating work can make the cause harder to diagnose and does not fix access, credit or sender readiness.

Why is the campaign configured but paused?

Workspace Auto Outreach may be off, or the ordinary campaign may be paused separately. Inspect both states. Resuming agents and resuming sending are different actions.

Can I ignore a sender or validation blocker?

No. Resolve the specific prerequisite. A managed mailbox preference, active trial or broad audience estimate does not bypass a ready sender, complete sequence or usable schedule.
