Understand DitLead-managed mailboxes for Auto Outreach

See how supplied mailboxes relate to sender readiness and what to do when assignment is unavailable.

5 min read

Before you start

  • DitLead provides the mailboxes for Auto Outreach. You do not need an add-mailbox onboarding step to understand this workflow.
  • A supplied mailbox still has to be available and assigned before the campaign can publish email steps. A mailbox preference does not bypass sender readiness checks.
  • Mailbox availability can vary by rollout. If a control is disabled or assignment is pending, treat the campaign as waiting for readiness instead of assuming that it can send immediately.

Steps

Step 1

Open campaign Settings

Inspect the Email Senders area of your Auto Outreach campaign. This is where sender assignment and the Use DitLead-managed mailboxes control are displayed when available. Read the campaign’s Auto Outreach state alongside the settings so you know whether the full suite is managing it.

Step 2

Check the supplied mailbox state

Confirm that the campaign has an assigned, ready sender rather than just a selected preference. A pending allocation, disconnected account or disabled managed-mailbox control is not a ready mailbox. Do not follow ordinary manual-campaign instructions to add your own mailbox as an Auto Outreach setup requirement.

Step 3

Handle an unavailable control

If Use DitLead-managed mailboxes is disabled, there is no available toggle action to complete in that screen. Keep the campaign from sending and contact DitLead support about managed mailbox assignment. Include the workspace, campaign and visible readiness message; never include mailbox passwords or account tokens.

Step 4

Recheck the launch blocker after assignment

Once assignment is confirmed, reopen the campaign’s controls and check whether the sender blocker clears. Other prerequisites can still apply, including usable leads, saved sequence and schedule. Resolving mailbox readiness is not a reason to skip the review of the rest of the campaign.

Step 5

Keep LinkedIn requirements separate

DitLead-managed email mailboxes do not replace your LinkedIn account. If the sequence has LinkedIn actions, connect and assign your own eligible LinkedIn account. Email sender readiness and LinkedIn sender readiness are independent requirements.

FAQ

Do I need to buy or connect a mailbox before using Auto Outreach?

DitLead supplies Auto Outreach mailboxes. If the supplied assignment is unavailable, request help with that assignment rather than treating mailbox connection as your onboarding task.

Can I publish with no assigned sender because I chose managed mailboxes?

No. The preference does not remove sender validation. The campaign must have a ready assigned sender for its email steps before publication can proceed.

How long does assignment take?

Use the availability shown in your workspace or ask support. Do not assume a fixed provisioning time from the existence of a toggle or a campaign draft.
