SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a TXT DNS record listing the servers authorized to send email for your domain. Receivers use it to detect spoofing.

Ensure there's exactly one SPF record, it starts with v=spf1, includes every legitimate sender, stays under 10 DNS lookups, and ends with ~all or -all.

SPF permits a maximum of 10 DNS lookups during evaluation. Too many includes push you over the limit and cause SPF to fail — flatten or consolidate.
