What is an SPF Record?

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is an email authentication method that helps prevent email spoofing. It allows domain owners to specify which mail servers are authorized to send emails on behalf of their domain.

When an email is received, the recipient's mail server checks the SPF record of the sender's domain to verify that the email came from an authorized server. This helps reduce spam and phishing attacks.

How to Set Up SPF Record

1. Access DNS Settings

Log in to your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider's control panel.

2. Create TXT Record

Add a new TXT record with the SPF syntax specifying your authorized mail servers.

3. Verify & Test

Wait for DNS propagation (up to 48 hours) and verify your record using this tool.
